I just want to say how happy I have been with Steven as my Trainer so far. He is a very knowledgeable person and he is great to train under. He went out of his way last night to go shopping with me and that shows not only the commitment he has to me as a customer, but also to yourself and Nathan, so you both should be very happy in what he has been doing. He is always on time, and very easy to get along with, so I can only wish him and the Breakaway Team every success in the coming months/years. (Sounds like I’m departing I know, but I like to give credit where credit is due, and you guys deserve it!)
I do feel so much more fitter and healthier since starting with you guys and your very lucky to have Steven, he is a great Trainer but also a very friendly down to earth guy. Thanks again and I’m sure I will see you sometime next week. Have a great weekend also.”

“I started training with Nathan and the Breakaway group only a few months ago
and already i have see huge improvements in my race times and fitness. The group sessions are always challenging with plenty of variety to keep it interesting. Nathan is always giving advice on technique for all three sports and educates us on nutrition and recovery.
I recently completed my first half ironman in a time that was much faster than i had thought i was capable of and am now looking to improve on that.

“I am 51 years old, and conscientious about my quality of life. I pay attention to my diet, am moderately active, I enjoy surfing, tennis, swimming and sometimes yoga. I was going to the gym 3-4 times a week, but with no formal exercise program. I personally lack knowledge of anatomy and kinesiology to the extent that I really don’t understand what muscles interact with other muscles and bones to cause body actions. But Nathan does!
It seemed that through my own efforts, I wasn’t getting the flexibility and strength that I sought, instead I was supporting the chronic condition of muscle stiffness that I had been struggling with for 5 years. Recovery from any strenuous activity was a real chore and sometimes took 4-5 days.
I started working with Nathan, looking to him to design a program that would address my issues of flexibility, strength, stability and remedy the general discomfort from muscle stiffness. And that is exactly what Nathan provided when I joined on for his on-line training program. I knew I didn’t want to go to the gym to work out 1 day a week with the professional trainer and then neglect to do any further work during the week. I needed a exercise program that was customized to my needs, strenuous enough that I would identify the benefits, and yet appropriately paced so that I could cruise towards the benefits I was looking for, several times a week. And that is what I got.
I have been very impressed from the start with Nathan’s attention to detail and his knowledge of kinesiology and muscle systems. His custom program includes graphics of each exercise, and is accompanied by a specific description of the alignment and position necessary, and the movements required to optimize results. Each month there is a new program, thus, each month I am achieving
If I sent him a message that I was having difficulty with pain from any exercise movement, he quickly provided a description of the specific adjustments to be made so that would not experience pain, but rather get the benefits, and in comfort .
Stamina, strength, power, speed, flexibility have all been a result of following the exercise program. What was chronic knee pain, doesn’t even exist. Today, there is no issue of recovery from activity, and if there is, it’s now 1 day, 2 max. I can just imagine what the benefits could be if I really became conscientious about following Nathan’s schedule.
I am grateful to Nathan for the victory over what was previously a chronic condition. And he achieved those results in just 4 months. I am stoked!”
